Jhuntue D. Grey has been performing on Brampton stages since the age of 12. Earnscliffe Sr. Public School’s first production of "The Emperor’s New Clothes" was the spark that ignited his continued education in theatre and performing arts at Mayfield Secondary School. Jhuntue participated in the Sears Festival and the musical "Two Gentlemen of Verona" before joining the community theatre company Brampton Theatre School. St. Clair College was the last stop in his formal education, where he performed roles like Captain Beausoleil in the Canadian musical "Pélagie" and Caiaphas in "Jesus Christ Superstar." Jhuntue then left college to open a theatre company with the intent to remove social bias from casting and hiring. During this time, he was given the privilege to co-direct one of his favorite pieces, Keith Barker’s "The Hours That Remain." After an extended hiatus and the COVID-19 pandemic, he was summoned back to the stage by long-time friends to perform in BurlOak Theatre Group's production of "Murder on the Orient Express" as Michael. Jhuntue D. Grey was most recently seen as Tom Collins in Brampton Music Theatre's production of "Rent."
